Mark McNeill has been named president of Master Flo, Inc. He has been with the company since 1979, and served most recently as VP of marketing. Chad Dannish was appointed VP of operations/ general manager. He joined the company in March 2004 after 17 years with an international wellhead manufacturer. Mike Henderson was appointed VP of operations, Asia Pacific. He has been employed with Master Flo since 1994 as corporate regional manager, Asia Pacific.

Lee Pilling has been appointed health, safety and environment manager for BJ Process and Pipeline Services (BJ PPS). He is responsible for global HSE direction, implementation and development of HSE programs for the division. Pilling joined BJ Comtec in Aberdeen in 1993 as a technical engineer, and since 2001 served as the base manager for the BJ base in Aberdeen.

MODEC International LLC elected Ray Koon as an officer of the company and a member of its management committee. Koon joined MODEC in 1997 after a 20-year career at ConocoPhillips. Over the last few years, he has focused his efforts in TLP technology. Under his leadership, the company has completed two successful TLP projects, the “Prince” TLP and the “Marco Polo” TLP.

 Dr. Joseph Stanislaw, president of Cambridge Energy Research Associates (CERA) will retire from the organization to pursue private interests. Stanislaw was a professor and lecturer in economics at Cambridge University and a member of the Energy Research Group in the Cavendish Laboratory. He later became Senior Oil Economist at the International Energy Agency. His latest book, The Commanding Heights: The Battle for the World Economy, co-authored with Daniel Yergin, has received wide international recognition.

 Barton Payne has joined the Paradigm Asia Pacific office as leader of the Visualization Team. Payne has over 15 years of experience in commercial geophysical R&D, most recently with Saudi Aramco, and, prior to that, as chief of technology at Magic Earth. He was part of the original Texaco team that built the oil industry’s first immersive visualization center and developed the software which became GeoProbe.

Goldnev Resources Inc. appointed George Isfan as president and CEO. He brings over 45 years of varied petroleum industry experience to the company. Isfan has worked for several major oil companies and also operated his own consulting company. He was one of the first field supervisory geologists to supervise operations in the high Arctic in early 1970, and was instrumental in discovering a major sour gas field in the foothills of southern Alberta.

North Sea facilities service operator Petrofac Facilities Management has appointed Bill Bayliss as director of its newly created division, Brownfield Development. He is responsible for strengthening the company’s activities in brownfield feasibility engineering, detailed engineering, construction and commissioning services. Bayliss has 20 years of experience in project management, operations and engineering.

WellDynamics, a joint venture of Halliburton Energy Services and Shell Technology Ventures, announced that Rick Luke has joined the company as CFO. He has more than 22 years of finance and management experience. Previously, he served as a VP in Halliburton’s Europe/ Africa region for three years.

Glynn Williams was appointed CEO of SPS International, the supplier of pre-completion wellbore cleanup tools. He has more than 20 years of experience in the industry. Williams was a joint founder of Sensa, a fiber optic downhole monitoring and logging company that was acquired by Schlumberger in 2001. Also joining the company are Nigel Leggett, VP of business development, and Robert Preston, VP of marketing. Leggett has over 20 years of industry experience, and was also joint founder of Sensa. Preston joined the oil industry in 1999. He initially developed and implemented the marketing plan for Sensa.

PSL Energy Services Ltd. appointed Martin Ellins as UK operations manager, with responsibility for all pipeline, process and well services operations. Ellins joined the company from Baker Hughes, where he was operations manager for Europe and Africa. He has 30 years of experience in downhole tools and coiled tubing drilling, and has managed directional drilling contracts across the Middle East, Asia Pacific, Africa and South America. Phil Bentley, previously in charge of UK operations, will now focus on international operations.

Aimee Coates has joined Sonsub’s regional sales office in Houston. Having been in the oil and gas industry for 11 years, she has held a variety of positions including mechanical engineer, applications engineer, and division management. She recently served as treasurer for the Houston section of the Marine Technology Society.

Thomas C. Langford has joined Mission Resources Corp. as senior VP and general counsel. His primary responsibility will be managing the company’s corporate legal matters and transactions, including acquisitions and litigation. He has over 23 years of oil and gas transaction experience. Previously, he was VP and associate general counsel of El Paso Production Co.
