Perenco Brazil has completed its acquisition of the Cherne and Bagre concessions from Petrobras. The acquisition includes two fixed platforms previously hibernated and scheduled for decommissioning by Petrobras. Perenco is targeting 15,000 bpd mid-term production from the concessions.

The Gimi FLNG unit will initially produce 2.4 MMtpa of LNG, with plans to ramp up to its full capacity of 2.7 MMtpa.
