Seatrium Limited has announced the impending delivery of the P-78, the first of a series of turnkey FPSOs to Brazil’s Petrobras. Upon delivery, the P-78 will be deployed in Brazil’s prolific Buzios field, the largest global deepwater oil field.

EnQuest has been awarded a Production Sharing Agreement (PSA) for Block C in Brunei by the Petroleum Authority of Brunei Darussalam (PABD). Block C is located offshore Brunei Darussalam and hosts the condensate-rich gas discovered fields of Merpati, Meragi and Juragan.

Golar's FLNG Gimi vessel has reached its commercial operations date (COD) under the 20‑year agreement for the Greater Tortue Ahmeyim (GTA) gas project offshore Mauritania and Senegal. The Gimi FLNG unit will initially produce 2.4 MMtpa of LNG, with plans to ramp up to its full capacity of 2.7 MMtpa.

bp Trinidad and Tobago (bpTT) has safely delivered first gas through connection of the initial discovery well at the Mento development, offshore Trinidad. The drilling campaign for the remaining seven gross wells on the platform will now begin, bp announced. Mento is a 50/50 joint venture between bpTT and EOG Resources, with EOG acting as operator.
