Wood JV wins EPC contract for bpTT’s Ginger gas project

December 02, 2025

(WO) - Massy Wood, the Trinidad and Tobago–based joint venture between Wood and Massy Group, has secured the engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning (EPCC) scope for bp Trinidad and Tobago’s (bpTT) Ginger gas development, the companies confirmed.

The award covers brownfield modifications to the Juniper platform, including topsides upgrades, subsea pipeline corrosion-protection improvements and the installation of methanol injection systems—critical components for managing hydrate risk and enabling safe start-up of new wells tied into the development.

The contract moves the project into full execution following Massy Wood’s completion of pre-FEED and FEED work earlier this year. All engineering and construction activities will be delivered with in-country personnel.

bpTT, a major gas producer for Trinidad and Tobago’s LNG and petrochemical sectors, is advancing Ginger to help sustain domestic gas supply amid declining output from mature fields.
