Tendeka secures multi-million-dollar AICD screens contract in Sub-Sahara Africa

April 12, 2018

ABERDEEN -- Independent global completions service company Tendeka has been awarded a multi-million-dollar contract to deliver autonomous inflow control devices (AICD) screens for an operator in Sub-Sahara Africa.

Tendeka will supply its specialist FloSure Elite sand screens with its FloSure autonomous inflow control devices (AICDs) and zonal isolation products for two developments in the country.

The award, which is the company’s first in the country covers multiple oil producers and water source wells. The work will commence later in 2018.

Modelling of Tendeka’s AICD for the operator’s wells has highlighted significantly increased production in comparison to conventional completion methods brought about via reduction in both water production and the gas-oil ratio.
