Petronas Carigali awards three-year contract to ROSEN

STANS, Switzerland -- Petronas Carigali Sdn. Bhd (PCSB) has awarded ROSEN Group a three-year contract for Sarawak and Sabah Operations.

The contract encompasses the provision of detailed fitness for service (FFS) assessments of PCSB-operated pipelines, including free span assessments, high level corrosion management plan updates, remaining life evaluations and risk assessments.

The work will be completed using Intelligent Pigging (IP) results and significant volumes of other data. The additional data will comprise design reports, as built drawings, operational data, anomaly reports, plus of course inspection and maintenance reports, ROV survey data, pipeline reassessment reports and riser inspections reports.

The scope includes approximately 260 pipelines, with diameters ranging from 4 in. to 48 in., located mainly offshore. During the contract tenure, ROSEN will deliver detailed written FFS reports for many of these pipelines identifying required actions to ensure such assets continue to be operated safely under current and future demands.
