Petronas reports 20,000 bopd production cut as of January

December 21, 2016

KUALA LUMPUR -- Petronas will make a voluntary adjustment to Malaysia’s crude oil production as of January, the Kuala Lumpur-based company said Wednesday. The move follows an agreement between OPEC and non-OPEC producers earlier this month.

According to Petronas, the adjustment, taking into consideration prevailing market conditions and prospects, is expected to involve up to 20,000 bopd from the country’s 2016 average production.
