Noble secures $136 million offshore Brunei drilling contract

(WO) — Noble Corp. has been awarded a contract for its Noble Viking drillship to support an offshore drilling campaign in Brunei, the company announced on LinkedIn.

The contract includes a firm scope of six wells with an estimated value of approximately $136.2 million, excluding managed pressure drilling (MPD) and other additional services. The campaign is scheduled to begin in early 2028 and is expected to last about 296 days, keeping the seventh-generation drillship contracted through the fourth quarter of 2028.

The agreement also includes three priced optional wells.

Noble did not identify the customer or provide additional details about the offshore drilling program.
