Petroleum Hall of Fame opens nominations for 2027 induction class
(WO) — The Petroleum Hall of Fame is accepting nominations for its 2027 induction class through July 31, 2026.
Administered by the Permian Basin Petroleum Museum in Midland, Texas, the Hall of Fame honors individuals who have made significant contributions to the development of the petroleum industry and the Permian basin.
Candidates may be living or deceased and are evaluated based on their impact on the industry, leadership and service. The next induction ceremony is scheduled for April 22, 2027.
The Petroleum Hall of Fame includes 160 members, among them former U.S. Presidents George H.W. Bush and George W. Bush, oilfield services pioneer Erle P. Halliburton, and former U.S. Secretary of Commerce Donald Evans.
Additional nomination criteria and submission information are available through the Petroleum Museum. Nominees selected from the current application cycle will be announced ahead of the 2027 induction ceremony.
