Sable Offshore starts oil sales, targets 60,000+ bpd from Santa Ynez assets
(WO)- Sable Offshore Corp. has initiated oil sales from its Santa Ynez Pipeline System offshore California, marking a key milestone in the phased restart of production across the Santa Ynez Unit.
The company said the pipeline system has been filled from Las Flores Canyon to Pentland Station at rates exceeding 50,000 bpd, enabling initial crude deliveries as upstream output continues to ramp.
At Platform Harmony, current production stands at approximately 22,000 bpd. Meanwhile, the U.S. Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement (BSEE) has completed its final pre-restart inspection of Platform Heritage, with production expected to restart at more than 30,000 bpd.
A third asset, Platform Hondo, is scheduled to come online by the end of second-quarter 2026, with anticipated output of more than 10,000 bpd. Once all three platforms are operating, total gross production from the Santa Ynez Unit is expected to exceed 60,000 bpd.
The restart reflects a broader effort to bring previously idled offshore California production back online, supported by regulatory approvals and infrastructure readiness.
Sable said initial oil sales are being delivered to Chevron, as the company reestablishes steady flows through the Santa Ynez system and advances toward full-field production capacity.
