Tenaris acquires AllTorque oilfield division to expand tubular running technology

March 26, 2026

(WO) - Tenaris has acquired AllTorque’s oilfield division, strengthening its tubular running services and expanding rig floor capabilities aimed at improving well integrity and operational efficiency.

The acquisition builds on an existing partnership between the companies and integrates AllTorque’s torque-turn monitoring systems into Tenaris’s Rig Direct® and WISer™ service offerings. The technology provides real-time data during tubular running operations, helping operators optimize connection performance and reduce the risk of installation errors.

AllTorque, headquartered in Red Deer, Alberta, has developed torque-turn monitoring systems widely used to enhance precision during casing and tubing installation. Since launching its monitoring service in 2022, the company has supported more than 5,000 jobs globally, covering over 23 million meters of OCTG.

By incorporating this capability, Tenaris is aiming to deliver more consistent execution on the rig floor, where accurate torque application and connection integrity are critical to long-term well performance.

“This acquisition marks another important step in Tenaris’s ongoing commitment to Canada,” said Martín Castro, Tenaris President in Canada. “We are glad to continue expanding the scope of our services with AllTorque.”

The deal also expands Tenaris’s operational footprint in Canada, where the company has invested more than CAD $314 million since 2020 across manufacturing, service and R&D facilities.

The move reflects broader industry demand for integrated service offerings that combine equipment, digital monitoring and field execution to improve reliability and efficiency in increasingly complex drilling environments.
