McDermott wins major EPCI contract for ADNOC’s Al Nasr offshore expansion
(WO) - McDermott has been awarded a major engineering, procurement, construction and installation (EPCI) contract by ADNOC for the Nasr-115 Expansion Project at the Al Nasr offshore field in the United Arab Emirates.
The project forms part of ADNOC’s broader Nasr Phase II full-field development, which aims to raise production capacity at the field to 115,000 bpd by 2027. The Al Nasr field is located about 130 km northwest of Abu Dhabi.
Under the contract, McDermott will deliver EPCI services for two topside structures, a new manifold tower, a jacket, a bridge, and associated pipelines, cables and brownfield modifications. The work will support incremental production capacity and infrastructure expansion at the offshore asset.
McDermott classified the award as a “major” contract, which the company defines as having a value between $750 million and $1 billion. The company has executed multiple offshore EPCI projects for ADNOC in recent years as part of the UAE’s strategy to expand offshore oil production capacity.
