Baseline Energy launches 400kW natural gas mobile power generator
Baseline Energy Services LP has recently introduced its first 400 kW mobile power generator, the NexGen 400™, to its growing fleet. The 581 HP NexGen 400 delivers 385 kW of continuous power fueled by natural gas (~1,000 BTU) at full load.
"This next-generation genset, with lab-certified power output results, offers a ~25% improvement in continuous duty power output compared to legacy gensets," Baseline stated in an official news release.
This advanced mobile power generator employs a next-generation smart engine to deliver industry-leading continuous power with ultra-low emissions. With lab-certified results, the NexGen 400 offers 90% lower NOx and 69% lower CO levels than the most stringent federal and state emissions requirements for spark-ignited engines.
Utilizing advanced technology, sensors on the unit detect (and report) the BTU quality of the fuel before it goes into the engine and automatically adjust important parameters that streamline the combustion process, improving power output while lowering emissions. Remote monitoring technology allows our control room team, field ops team, and customers to view real-time information on key operating outputs such as kW, load percent, fuel pressure, engine temperatures, shutdown codes, and even BTU composition of fuel gas. Parallel capable, the NexGen 400 can quickly scale to deliver up to 15 MW of distributed power generation.
Field tested and deployed in the harshest environments, the NexGen 400 is proven to generate reliable, continuous power even on triple-digit days at high altitudes. Supported by Baseline’s 24/7 control room, the NexGen provides unmatched power and reliability, ensuring continuous power delivery to customers in the most remote environments.
