(WO) - Subsea Supplies has formed a strategic partnership with Florida-based DRIFT Offshore to boost subsea equipment availability and technical support for U.S. customers, as demand for connectors, cable assemblies and repair services grows across the offshore energy sector.

The collaboration includes a joint $250,000 investment in machinery, tooling, inventory and testing equipment, enabling faster delivery of Burton subsea connectors and improved supply-chain responsiveness for operators seeking to reduce downtime.

Under the agreement, DRIFT Offshore’s recently opened 5,000-sq-ft engineering and repair facility in South Florida will manufacture and distribute Subsea Supplies products. Subsea Supplies is supporting the build-out of a new molding capability and providing staff training to ensure consistent manufacturing and quality standards.

“This partnership is a significant step in how we support our U.S. customers,” said Pauline McCann, operations director at Subsea Supplies. “By combining our product expertise with DRIFT Offshore’s on-the-ground capability, we’re giving customers faster access to equipment and practical technical support.”

DRIFT Offshore managing director Meghan Bowers said the partnership builds on a strong track record between the companies. “With our technician-led approach and purpose-built facility, we are proud to represent Subsea Supplies’ products and deliver local support to customers.”

The partnership aims to strengthen subsea service capacity for operators working in the Gulf of Mexico and broader U.S. offshore market.
