"As President Joe Biden announces that he will not seek reelection, NOIA remains steadfast in advancing our mission and advocating to elected officials on both sides of the aisle.

"As we move towards the next election, NOIA will continue to underscore the critical importance of fostering a strong offshore energy industry. We are committed to ensuring that the next administration, regardless of party or candidate, understands the vital contributions of domestic energy to America's prosperity.”

“The energy production we rely on today is the result of strategic policy decisions made years ago. Advancing smart domestic energy policies is not just an industry concern; it’s an American issue that benefits every citizen by securing our energy future.

"Our message to policymakers remains clear: a balanced and forward-thinking approach to energy policy is essential. This includes supporting the full spectrum of offshore energy resources—oil, gas, wind, carbon capture, critical minerals, and other emerging energy segments—while adhering to the highest environmental standards. Americans from all walks of life depend on it."
