Subsea7 wins Gulf of Mexico subsea tieback contract
(WO) — Subsea7 has secured a contract for a subsea tieback development in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico. The company will be responsible for transporting and installing the flowline, umbilical, and other subsea components required for the project.
Project management and engineering work will begin immediately at Subsea7’s Houston office, with offshore activity expected to commence in 2025. The contract value is estimated between $50 million and $150 million.
