Houston Energy Day Interactive STEM Festival returns this Saturday

October 11, 2022

The 10th annual Houston Energy Day Festival is taking place this Saturday, Oct. 15 from 11 am to 3 p.m. at Sam Houston Park (1000 Bagby Street).

Energy Day is a free family festival where K-12 students and their families can engage in over 40 interactive, hands-on experiments and exhibits in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). Year after year, Energy Day has sparked students’ interest in STEM and while showing them the exciting career opportunities in energy and energy-related industries. Energy Day partners with Houston’s leading companies and organizations including NASA, Chevron, TechnipFMC, CITGO, Caterpillar , Phillips 66, Wood Mackenzie, H-E-B and more to show kids the fun side of STEM through interactive learning.

After a two-year hiatus due to COVID-19, thousands of Houston-area students and their families can once again enjoy this special event where STEM education is made fun and exciting for kids of all ages. We are trying to make sure Houston-area communities are all aware that Energy Day is back in full swing! Can you help us to get the word out?

Energy Day is presented by the Consumer Energy Alliance and the Consumer Energy Education Foundation, a non-profit organization that works to develop activities and programs that motivate, inspire, and improve students’ understanding of the various career opportunities that are available to them if they follow a STEM path.
