AqualisBraemar and HOSE International enter offshore inspection partnership
OSLO - AqualisBraemar and HOSE International have signed a memorandum of understanding to jointly provide rig and well control inspection services for the offshore industry.
AqualisBraemar offers rig inspection services globally through a network of offices in 33 countries, whilst Aberdeen-based HOSE (Hands-On Subsea Engineering) International specializes in inspection, re-activation and project support of well control equipment.
“The combined competence of AqualisBraemar and HOSE International will provide oil companies and rig operators worldwide with some of the oil and gas industry’s leading experts within well control, rig compliance and dynamic positioning,” says Steven Lee, head of rig inspection services at AqualisBraemar.
Today, HOSE International is primarily providing services related to well control equipment inspection, verification, assurance and project support during rig intake and major maintenance periods. This is achieved through its highly experienced subsea engineering team. Through the partnership with AqualisBraemar, HOSE International will focus on independent auditing of well control equipment.
“Operators and drilling companies are increasingly asking suppliers to support them with both rig intake programs and rig inspection services. Through our complementary partnership with AqualisBraemar, we can now provide both types of services in the UK and other offshore basins,” says Richard Brennan, managing director of HOSE International.
AqualisBraemar has a dedicated rig inspection team that consists of multi-disciplined engineers with decades of practical rig inspection experience that helps to provide regulatory compliance and equipment operability assurance to rig owners and operators.
