The EIC appoints Petrofac’s Tony Brady to board of directors
LONDON -- The Energy Industries Council (EIC), the leading trade association for UK companies that supply goods and services to the energy industries worldwide, has announced the appointment of Petrofac’s Business Development Manager Tony Brady as the newest member of its board of directors.
Tony brings over 20 years of global oil and gas business development experience to the EIC board, which has seen him identify and successfully pursue oil and gas business opportunities in the UK, North and South America, the Middle East and Africa.
He has spent five years, to date, with Petrofac and has been instrumental in securing new work for the company, including a £120m engineering and construction contract win from a new UK client, managing the process from initial contact, through the bid stage until the successful award.
Prior to joining Petrofac, Tony spent two years with Scottish independent oil and gas service company QTEC International where he helped the firm to secure a three-year master service agreement in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico as well as a framework agreement with an independent operator in Australia.
Tony’s international experience is not only limited to winning work and managing clients at a range of locations worldwide, he also relocated to Trinidad, where he managed ASCO Group’s offshore supply base at Galeota Point.
Before joining the EIC Board Tony spent six years as a non-executive board member of Montrose Port Authority.

Speaking about his new role, Brady said, "I want to use my appointment to the EIC’s board of directors to help UK supply chain companies to win work around the world.
"I can’t wait to start working on some of the EIC’s fantastic events and products such as its series of EIC Connect conference and exhibitions, which bring UK suppliers face to face with major operators and contractors, or its soon be launched EICAssetMap aftersales database. The EIC is doing so much to help UK energy supply chain companies to grow and I’m really excited to be able to leverage my skills and experience to help them do so."
