Statoil completes sale of W.Va. Marcellus assets to EQT

HOUSTON -- Statoil has completed the sale of its non-core operated assets in the U.S. state of West Virginia to EQT Corporation.

The transaction, which closed Friday, covers approximately 62,500 net acres.

Equity production from the properties in the first quarter was about 9,300 boed.

Statoil retains its operated properties in the U.S. state of Ohio and its non-operated Marcellus positions.
