Inpex Corp. spuds wildcat offshore Japan
TOKYO, Japan -- Inpex Corporation started drilling an exploratory well offshore Japan on Sunday, the company said in a statement.
The well lies about 130 km northwest of Shimane Prefecture and approximately 140 km north of Yamaguchi Prefecture.
Going forward, Inpex plans to determine the presence of hydrocarbon deposits in the area by conducting a detailed analysis and evaluation of data obtained.
