Shell awards Water Standard contract for Appomattox development
HOUSTON -- Water Standard has secured a contract with Shell Offshore for the design, fabrication, testing, and shipment of an Ultrapure Water Generation Package (UWGP) to be integrated on Appomattox, Shell's floating production system which will be located in the deepwater Gulf of Mexico.
The UWGP includes compact reverse osmosis and membrane deaeration coupled with a demineralization process using continuous electrodeionization.
