NRC opens oil spill service center in Aberdeenshire
ABERDEENSHIRE, Scotland -- Industrial and emergency response provider NRC has announced the establishment of a new oil spill base in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. The new 4.9-acre site in Oldmeldrum, Aberdeenshire, will act as a service, maintenance and training facility for NRC’s international activities.
The facility will be the equipment maintenance and dispatch center for company’s oil spill rental packages. NRC will also be delivering emergency response and oil spill response training courses from the new center.
The site has been developed by NRC’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Sureclean, and will house both Sureclean and wider NRC group services. The facility includes over 15,000 sq ft of warehouse space including workshop, stores and wash bay areas, 3 training rooms and over 4,000 sq ft of office space.
