The CR600 accommodation rig is compliant with ABS Accommodation Service, MLC2006 Character of Society, ABS HAB+(MODU), underwater UWILD requirement and also noise and vibration requirements of the UK's HSE for the living quarters. Its designed operating areas include Brazil, the Gulf of Mexico and West Africa, as well as the UK North Sea.
Since 2010, CIMC Raffles has delivered a total of nine deepwater semisubmersible rigs.
Two of these are 100% self-designed semisubmersible heavy-lift and accommodation rigs that are currently operating in the Campos basin.
Another four units of deepwater semisubmersible drilling rigs are presently under construction at CIMC Raffles: two seventh generation ultra-deepwater semisubmersible drilling rigs for worldwide operations and two harsh environment deepwater semisubmersible drilling rigs for the Norwegian North Sea.
