At Crown, we know how important it is to keep rigs in production. All of our U.S.-made gauge components are ready to be assembled, calibrated and certified so that they leave our factory as quickly as possible, keeping downtime to a minimum. At Crown, we take pride in the fact that all critical components, like bourdon tubes, are made in house and tested rigorously before they make it to your new instrument. You can be assured that all Crown gauges will withstand the toughest industry conditions.

New products. Exclusively for LAGCOE 2015, Crown is proud to unveil three new additions to our product line. Each of these products has been rigorously tested and will stand up to the harshest industry conditions.

6-in. digital gauge. Crown’s digital gauge offers an electrical solution when a hydraulic pressure system is impractical or difficult to maintain. Crown’s digital mud gauges use an electronic cable to read pressure via the ½-in. stick or hammer union style sensor. These gauges provide accurate readings up to 250 ft away and can read both maximum and minimum pressures. With few moving parts, Crown’s digital gauges needs little to no maintenance in the field. Not having hydraulic hoses decreases high-pressure safety concerns and eliminates hydraulic fluid leaks. Highly accurate, Crown’s digital gauge provides accurate indications within 0.05% over the entire range.

Flange UMG. Crown’s flange-mount Unitized Mud Gauge (UMG) is new to the Crown UMG line-up. Along with its threaded and hammer union counterparts, these gauges are easily viewable from up to 60 ft away and offer accurate readings for choke manifolds and pump truck applications. Available in standard capacities up to 15,000 psi, Crown’s complete line up of UMGs offer accurate pressure measurement management in cementing, acidizing and fracturing.

Industrial process gauges. Crown is expanding its product line to include industrial process gauges. We have combined our extensive knowledge and years of experience with pressure management solutions to create a new line of industrial process gauges. These safe, reliable gauges meet the quality requirements and measure pressures from 15 psi to 15,000 psi. The process gauges come in range of options from liquid-filled to dry, stainless to stainless brass and metric or English measurement. Crown’s process gauges provide accurate, dependable readings for a variety of industrial applications.

Crown service and repair. Every day, oilfield equipment needs to be maintained to operate smoothly. To help ensure that your instrumentation performs at its best, Crown offers many spare and replacement parts for our instruments in our online store. Crown’s instrumentation repair center is staffed with knowledgeable technicians with years of industry experience. They can keep your operation running efficiently. The Crown team knows that downtime can be very costly. That’s why we can service hydraulic and digital instrumentation equipment in the field. Our knowledgeable field service technicians travel with all the equipment they need to avoid costly downtime, and they can repair, test, and re-certify most equipment quickly.

In today’s heavily regulated oil and gas industry, safety documentation is essential. Crown is committed to rig safety, and we know that accurate weight, pressure and torque measurement is essential to keeping rig workers safe. All Crown gauges are calibrated and certified by our highly skilled technicians, and these certifications are traceable back to NIST standards. Every new and newly-repaired instrument leaves our facility with a certificate of calibration and an all-weather certification sticker.

Crown’s promise. Crown Oilfield Instrumentation’s promise is to provide accurate, dependable hydraulic and digital instrumentation for drilling applications. We offer factory-direct pricing as well as fast turnaround times, and our friendly, knowledgeable staff is available to answer all of your questions.
