Intecsea, a WorleyParsons Group company, named Uri Nooteboom as President, succeeding Craig Reeves, who is returning to a position within the WorleyParsons Group in Australia. Previously, Nooteboom served as the company’s Senior VP of International Operations and was responsible for its North American and Brazilian businesses. He has 38 years of experience in the design and implementation of offshore subsea and floating production systems.

Jim Tinsley has joined Merrick Energy Group as a Senior Project Manager. He has spent 20 years with ConocoPhillips, where he served as Division Manager. With the addition of Tinsley, Merrick will expand its expertise in the delivery of surveying, geospatial, engineering and project management services.

Michael W. Tweedy joined Marathon Oil Co. as Chief Procurement Officer. He succeeds Pamela K. M. Beall, who was appointed VP of Products Supply and Optimization for Marathon’s downstream operations. Tweedy worked for Chevron for 25 years, holding numerous roles both in the US and internationally. Since 2008, he has been employed by BHP Billiton as Global Supply Manager for drilling and exploration.

Magellan Petroleum Corp. has appointed Antoine Lafargue as its new CFO and Treasurer. Susan M. Filipos, who has been serving as Interim CFO since April 2010, will continue as Controller. Lafargue has served in a number of senior financial management positions in both the US and Europe. Most recently, he served as the CFO of Falcon Gas Storage, a natural gas storage company based in Houston.

UniversalPegasus International Inc. named John M. Jameson as CEO. He succeeds Jerry Mayfield, who will assume the role of Executive Chairman. Jameson has more than 28 years of experience in the oil and gas industry in the US and Canada.

Aberdeen-based EFC Group, a designer and manufacturer of handling, control, instrumentation and monitoring systems for the oil and gas industry, has made two key appointments for its US operations. Mike Coady, formerly an Instrument Engineer at Odfjell Drilling and KCA Deutag (RDS), was appointed General Manager for the Americas. Also, Vance Williams, who has 26 years of experience in drilling and production control systems with Cameron Controls, has been appointed EFC Group Senior Account Executive.

HB Rentals named Norman Porter as Operations Manager, responsible for all operational aspects of the Eastern Hemisphere division. Porter has more than 25 years of experience in the modular accommodations business, most recently as the Operations Director for Labtech Engineering Services. Also, Jim Clark was named Project Manager. He has almost 20 years of project management and engineering experience. Myron Manuel was named Refurbishing Manager by HB Rentals to oversee refurbishment on vessels, platforms and drilling rigs. He previously served for two years as a Technical Coordinator.

Enventure Global Technology appointed David Crowley as President and CEO. With more than 30 years in the oil and gas industry, Crowley will lead the company from its headquarters in Houston. He served previously with Precision Drilling Oilfield Services, following its acquisition of Grey Wolf Drilling, where he led the company’s US and international divisions. He succeeds Ray Ballantyne, who announced his retirement.

Ian Milne was appointed President of Wood Group Pressure Control. He brings almost 30 years of oil and gas experience in the US and UK as well as extensive knowledge of the global valve and wellhead market. He joined the company in 2000, and served most recently as VP and General Manager for North America.

Tiffany Harris has been named President of Foster Marketing Communications, succeeding company founder George Foster, who will remain as CEO. The company specializes in marketing, advertising and public relations in the oil and gas industry. Harris has been with the company since 1995, serving most recently as Executive VP. Also, Jamie Efurd has been named VP of Marketing. She joined Foster Marketing in 2005 and has served as Marketing Director and Account Executive.

Hyperdynamics Corp. appointed John O’Keefe as Executive VP and CFO. Most recently, O’Keefe served first as CFO and later as President and CEO of Blast Energy Services, an energy company that provided satellite communication and lateral jetting services to oil and gas producers.

Gulf Publishing Company has appointed Mike Brown as the new sales representative for World Oil and Hydrocarbon Processing magazines for the UK, Ireland, the Netherlands, Northern Belgium and Scandinavia. In addition to advertising sales, he will handle sales for Gulf Publishing Company’s Events Group. Brown brings to the company over 30 years of experience working in advertising sales in the UK and Europe. For the past several years his advertising sales have been primarily in the oil, gas and chemical engineering sector for the UK and Europe.
