Texaco named Whylen "Len" G. Cooper Supply Chain VP, responsible for building a new global supply chain management organizational structure, re-engineering the supply chain processes, establishing a strategic sourcing foundation, and implementation of an e-procurement and data aggregation solution for Texaco worldwide.

CMS Energy promoted David W. Joos and William J. Haener to executive VP and COO-electric and natural gas, respectively.

Deaths

James C. "Jim" Rankin, 72, born in Brenham, Texas, but a long time resident of Conroe, Texas, died Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2000. He was a well-known commercial photographer in Houston, working first with Bob Bailey Studios. He subsequently opened Jim Rankin Photography. He was an active member of NOMADS and Optimist Club. WO
