OTC ’15: Fluid Systems, Inc. introduces three tools for solids control
HOUSTON -- Fluid Systems, Inc. has introduced three new tools for the solids control market: the ProdiG, the MultiG, and the Barkeeper.
The Barkeeper is a high-process volume classifier for use in barite recovery and dual-density drilling operations. The centrifugal separator is patent pending, and can process over 250 gpm.
“The Barkeeper is comparable to a 170-hp, decanting centrifuge, but achieves results with only 50 hp, a minimal footprint, and a significantly lower cost,” said Ben Hiltl, president of Fluid Systems, Inc.
The MultiG is a shaker that can produce high frequency results, and generates up to 50 G’s of force to the screen surface.
The ProdiG is a dynamic flowline and drying shaker, with smart, algorithm controls that can transmit 24 channels of data to the operator.
“Data from the motors are processed and sent to the rig operator’s on-board computer,” Hiltl said.
