Rosneft subsidiary brings Zapadno-Epasskoye field onstream
MOSCOW -- RN-Uvatneftegaz, a subsidiary of Rosneft, has started commercial oil production at Zapadno-Epasskoye field, part of the company’s Uvat project, in Russia.
According to Rosneft, RN-Uvatneftegaz is engaged in the exploration and development of the Uvat group of fields in Russia’s Tyumen Region.
In 2015, the company commissioned three new deposits—Protozanovskoye, Yuzhno-Gavrikovskoye and Malyk—as part of the Uvat project.
Zapadno-Epasskoye field lies 250 km from the village of Uvat, Russia, within the Ust-Tegussky license area.
The field’s recoverable oil reserves amount to over 17 million tonnes.
