Anadarko reports first oil from Heidelberg development in Gulf of Mexico
THE WOODLANDS, Texas – Anadarko has reported first oil from its Heidelberg development in the Gulf of Mexico.

According to Anadarko, Heidelberg, the company’s second major truss spar development in the Gulf of Mexico in the last two years, achieved first oil on Friday, Jan. 14.
Lucius, the spar’s sister development, started production last January. The spars, built under Anadarko's 'design one, build two' initiative, have design capacities of 80,000 bopd and 80 MMcfgd.
